ΠΡΙΝ 5 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΑΥΓΟΥΣΤΟΣ 2011

Νοέμβριος 2010 με το πέρας των αγώνων στην Οσάκα της Ιαπωνίας οι κυανόλευκοι judoka παραδίδοντας την σημαία του Ηρακλή μας στο Goshin judo club από την Αυστραλία αδελφοποιούνται Ο David Gordge μαζί με τον Μαΐστρέλλη Αυγερινό από το 2009 είναι επίτιμα μέλη του KIWI JUDO CLUB της OSAKA. 

 Τον Αύγουστο του 2011 Ο David στο πρώτο Ιδρυτικό συνέδριο της W.J.F  Εκλέγεται μέλος του Δ.Σ ως αντιπρόεδρος της Ωκεανίας .

Τον Ιανουάριο του 2012 ο τεχνικός μας σύμβουλος έλαβε μαζί με τις ευχές το παρακάτω γράμμα

Dear Ageris,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all of the members of your Club.  Can you please send me your address so I can send you an acknowledgement of us joining our two clubs as "Sister Clubs".

I also wanted to see whether you had heard about the formation of the new World Judo Federation (WJF).  It was officially created in August of 2011 and I have been elected Vice President for Oceania Region.  We are looking to build the membership of the federation to promote Kodokan Judo.  Something I know you are very pasionate about. It would be great to have you as part of the Europen Continental Union representing Greece.  Would you consider such?

The WJF has not been created to run in opposition ot the IJF but as an alternative to the IJF with the prime aim of making Judo available to all, and spreading the sport at a grass roots level through to the elite.  At this stage, we are going to hold World Championships for Juniors and Seniors, Teams & Kata each year.  It is only a new organisation so a lot of work still has to be done but it is taking shape.  If you get a chance have a look at the WJF website.
