Dear  President Kaloterakis,

Dear Technical Advisor Maistrellis,

First I would hereby like to express my personal thanks, as well as thanks from WJF for having been able to participate to this prestigious event last year January 2012! It was very interesting to see the high level of competition and also the enthusiastic and devoted participants to this event.

As I this year cannot participate because of a planned knee operation in the beginning of February, I would like to express my appreciation for your activities by means of this letter to your Iraklis Judo Club, president Kaloterakis and Technical Advisor Maistrellis and to all your judo athletes and club members!

I am sure that this year’s event will be of the same high quality as the one last year, presenting real Traditional Kodokan Judo, and that all judokas will show their high technical skills as well as their sense of sportsmanship. Certainly this will be a significant manifestation of what is the main vision and goal for the World Judo Federation – Judo for All!

I hope I will be able to participate to the great event you will organize end of June this year, the International Judo Tournament – Ithaki 2013 Matsura Cup. Until then, good luck with your organization and best personal regards and greetings to you all!
